Overview


Dashboards are quick looks at your business activity. Reports are more detailed summaries and calculations. Dashboards can be seen only on the Dashboards tab while reports can be accessed from the Reports menu and Dashboard tab. Register Reports can be seen from the Front Register as well. Below are brief descriptions of the various reports and dashboard widgets. Click through for more detail about each report. 


You can customize what reports appear on your Dashboard by using the Toggle Portlets button at the top right corner.




Please NOTE that Dashboard Reports in MicroBiz have following limitations:

 

  • By Category – 100 categories
  • By Store (both) – 20 stores
  • Customer (best, lost, new) – 10
  • At a Glance – 15,000 transactions for the period being analyzed

Register Reports


Hourly Sales

Each hour of the day is reported for the dates selected showing number of transactions, number of items sold, average transaction, total sales and markdowns for each hour. Use this to plan staffing levels - put your best sales people on the floor when sales are biggest and store traffic is highest.


 Report General User Interface Conventions


  • Date Ranges - include today, yesterday, week to date, last week, month to date, last month and year to date as default date ranges. Use custom dates to enter your own begin/end dates.

  • Sorting - all data fields are sort-able when you click on the field name.

  • Column Heading Filtering - click the funnel icon to the right of the field name to filter the report using the field data.

  • Printing - Use export PDF to print your report out

  • Exporting to CSV - some reports allow you to export report results to CSV.
