Overview

Use the Customer alternate ID field to search for customers using Membership ID, Wholesale Account number, employee ID , Facebook name. Any thing you like.

Create Alternate ID Fields - Steps

• Customers >> Manage Customer ID's


• New Customer ID


• Enter a Name and answer yes to include the ID in customer searches


• Optionally you can make the ID visible in customer imports.


• Save!

Setting Customer Alternate ID 

• When creating or editing customers your new alternate ID field is now on the Customer Alternate ID tab. Scan or Type the ID into the field.


• Save!

Using Customer Alternate ID

Now that you you've entered your alternate ID you can use it to add the customer to a receipt or order by typing the alternate ID into the customer scan panel.
