Overview


Promotional Sales Report show sales results by Promotion & Store allows the user to gauge the effectiveness of a promotion.


Detail Levels
  • Individual Promotion

Filters
  • Stores – select any stores or all
  • Date Range – standard portlet date range selections.
  • Select Promo – select all or any individual promos. Promos have to be active within the report date range selected to be on the list. “all’ implies only promotions active within the date range. 


Report Fields

  • Promo Sales –- Number of net transactions that contain at least 1 promo item for the selected promo. (if a return has a promo item on it – it counts as -1 transactions).

  • Non-Promo Sales - Number of transactions with no items from the selected promo.

  • Promo Items Sold –- Net quantity sold of all items on the promotion selected.

  • Non-Selling items –- Number of distinct product records that are part of the promotion that do not show up on any sales in the date range.

  • Promo Sold$ - Net dollars sold for the transactions containing at least  1 promo item for the selected promo.

  • Non-Promo Sold$ - Net dollars sold for the transactions with no items for the selected promo.

  • Promo GP$ - Net gross profit dollars for the transactions containing at least  1 promo item for the selected promo.

  • Non-Promo GP$ - Net gross profit dollars for the transactions with no items for the selected promo Promo.

  • MD$ - Total markdown dollars for the transactions containing at least  1 promo item for the selected promo.

  • Non-Promo MD$ - Total markdown dollars for the transactions with no items for the selected promo.
